Over 270 million children have no access to health services
Over 400 million children have no access to safe water
Over 376 million children have to walk more than 15 minutes to water or drink unsafe water
Over 10.5 million children die each year of easily curable diseases
Over 300 million children go to bed hungry each night
Over 153 million children under age 5 are malnourished
Every 3.6 seconds someone dies of hunger
The Indian subcontinent has nearly half of the world's hungry people
Over 17 million children die each year from malnutrition
Over 10 million children are presently involved in the sex trade industry
Over 1.4 million children are living with HIV
Over 15 million chidlren have lost parents since the AIDS/HIV epidemic began
Over 3 billion, about half of the world, live on less than $2 a day; half of these are children living on less than $1 a day
Over 640 million children live without adequate shelter
Over 100 million children lives on the streets right now
Over 115 million children worldwide have never been able to attend school
Nearly one billion, one sixth of the world's population, entered the 21st century unable to read a book or sign their name

These dire situations cry for relief. Humanitarian relief is crucial. GMF Children International works to make a difference in the lives of these children with food, health care, education to break the cycle of poverty, and hope for the future. We are not just a social service agency offering humanitarian aid to destitute children; we are a strategic evangelistic mission.

Real human change and true hope for the future takes place when individuals respond, with repentance and faith, to the good news of the grace of God through Jesus Christ. Our goal is to provide the help, education, and discipleship needed to raise up a generation that know and love the Lord and will make a difference for Him in their culture.
