What is Child Sponsorship?

Child sponsorship is a way of providing much needed support for underprivileged children in addition to providing a rich and rewarding experience for you. As a child sponsor, you will see up close and personal, through correspondence with your child, how you are helping to move him/her toward greater levels of health, hope, and happiness.

For less than $1 a day, you will help provide the basic necessities for your child, such as education, healthcare, food, clothing, and clean water. Each field office determines exactly how to best administer and distriibute funds for the children within their community and culture. We work only through our field partners so we can account for the stewardship of all funds donated. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU SP0NSOR A CHILD?

When you sponsor a child, you agree to make a $25 contribution each month, which is tax deductible. You will also receive updates to let you know how your child is progressing.

WHY HELP A CHILD THROUGH GMF CHILDREN?

GMF Children gives a high percentage of all donations directly to the children. Of all Sponsorship and Lifeline contributions, 80% go directly to the children, 11% is used for direct program support administration, and 9% is used for fundraising.

Contributions are completely tax deductible, allowing you to be a better steward of your income.

GMF Children only supports initiatives which share the good news orf God's love as the reason for their compassion and involvement.

GMF is scrupulous about observing the highest standards of accountiblity and transparency. We will publish and disclose on request to any person or agency complete and independently audited financial statements.

GMF has developed a thorough process for selection and appraisal of the iniatives to be supported, as well as highly effective planning, monitoring, and evaluation that are applied to each of the projects we fund.
